New Year Eve @ 9:44 PM To anyone who's reading this blog, a Happy New Year to you! As a reward for paying attention to my site, you'll get to receive many angpows this CNY hols! New Year Eve is busy as expected. Last minute cleaning-up and decoration..Come to think of it, if there's no Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilifitri, Deepavali etc, would our houses be 10 times messier than how they are now? XD Just wondering. 'Cause it seems like these festive periods are the only reasons for people to take a piece of cloth and start wiping dust off the shelves. I guess it's gonna be a wet, gloomy, rainy New Year. The rain seems to have grown affection towards our state. Makes me think of the song choir always sings - "Raindrops keep falling on my head..."Whatever, at least it'll be cool, not scorching. Gotta go now, eleventh hour preparation is calling for me again! Wish me luck, peeps, I'm stuck with a 'sweet gentle' friend this holidays. Uhh.

Hana hana @ 11:18 AM My 2 weeks holiday is half-gone! Well, almost. Happy days do pass by faster than miserable days. I proudly proclaim that I have used up quite a part of my valuable time to watch dramas. Was just going to take a glimpse only but series are series, the train doesn't come to a halt easily. What I watched was Hana Yori Dango's korea version which is still in the filming process, trying to compare it with the japan and taiwan versions. For me, its storyline is quite similar to Japan's. The school, from Eitoku Academy to Shinhwa College, is equally And the cast, hmm..I didn't like the fact that they changed all the characters' names.Tsukasa Domyoji - Goo Joon Pyo, Hanazawa Rui - Yoon Ji Hoo, Tsukushi Makino - Geum Jan Di. Putting that aside, their acting skills are pretty average. Main lead Lee Min Ho is doing a good job but somehow, the girl seems to overact a bit. The way she eats is way too clumsy and her screaming..uhh, but after all, she's a newbie. Same thing with Hyun Joong playing Ji Hoo@Rui - slightly off character at first but he's improving gradually. I still prefer him singing though, the drama stylist doesn't make him look as nice as usual. The rest are alright. Another drama I'm 'chasing' after is Hana Kimi Japan version. (What's with all the 'Hana'?) This drama sure is hilarious, send me in fits of laughter. It's a rare for me - that I like majority of the cast in the drama. Maybe it's because there are practically no antagonists? But all the same, they are fab. Maki as tomboy Mizuki, Oguri as cold Sano and Toma as noisy cheery Nakatsu. Together with the other high-school boys, they bring out a silly but heartwarming story. Yes, they are really crazy, absolutely an abnormal school with a gay school doctor. End of the day, it's still worth a watch thanks to perfect acting and funny twists. ![]()

Beginning of Faith - End of Anxiety @ 4:42 PM Thank you Lord! For granting me my wishes - straight A's for AS! Had been dead worried about it for some time. I actually had nightmares about obtaining terrible results twice. One was so true, in a way that the exact handphone theme, the sender, the message appeared in my dream clearly. Scary. Thanks to my dad, I had another silly dream. He took my first semester's results slip and waved it in front of my eyes when I was half-asleep last night, saying, " Your AS results. Critical Thinking. D. " And I dreamt that I got a D for it. Hello! Our "keep on the right track" teacher told me it would be an accident if I didn't get an 'A' for CT. I have to tell him that later. Anyways, glad that everything went well. I was a nervous wreck this morning though, with worries rushing through my mind. Then halfway through my violin lesson came the message from sis that we have to go to school at 10. Lol, I probably played terribly after that, fretting and fretting. Especially when I was waiting for my mum to fetch me. Luckily, I have this Christian daily advice poster hanging in my room - you close your eyes, point your finger somewhere on it and tada, read the words of gold. Today, I pointed at "The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, the beginning of faith is the end of anxiety." That helped soothed me a lot.Reaching school, I was summoned to the Marketing blabla room where everyone was filling a questionnaire regarding the school. Then as Dr Lee appeared from another room, we went out and took photos which I thought was funny and ridiculous. We had not even received our results! Duh. After that, Dr Lee finally started distributing our 'printed from Internet' results. Felt like jumping up and down when I saw mine! Heehee. Then it was photos again, photos with more natural smiles I suppose. And we went back. Congrates to everyone else who got results hoped for! I bet there's a heap of straight A's in Taylor's. Competitiveness is surely not absent in the time to come. Besides, there's still a long way to go - just the beginning for a stage of our lives. Which reminds me of ...America's Inauguration! The historical moment which attracted over a million people to the National Mall just to witness the first black man being sworn in as the president of U.S.A. Who on earth would have thought of that, when the blacks were treated as slaves in the olden days. So it's more or less like a wonder for the African Americans. In fact, newly inaugurated president Barack Obama has received trust and recognition from countries across the world. Whatever, hope that he would take 'bold and swift actions' as said as he wades into a sea of troubles awaiting him. President Obama signing his first act in the President's Room. never knew he was left-handed. Delivering his inaugural address in Washington D.C. Sayonara to George Bush, hello to the Obama era!

rubik's cube @ 3:00 PM Got hooked onto something recently. ![]() It's such a great tool for handling boredom. But you have to be patient, it can make you very upset if you somehow messed up. But, haha, I can fix up the first two layers in no time. Kidding, I still need a few minutes to do that. Then the last layer needs some time, formulas and methods too long. After that, you'll get a perfect cube, like this ---! Okay, I was planning to write a really short post this afternoon, after sis' mumbling that my blog is still stagnant at sushi day. What to do, there's nothing out of the blue that's worth blogging about these days...well, there's the landslide but sigh, it's so saddening and shocking. I figured it's better we just pray that the victims' family may have peace at heart. Hope that this kind of tragedy doesn't repeat itself. Hmm. Back to topic. The short short post plan. So you think I'm that lazy? Just drop a few sentences and drift away? I guess you're right. Anyway, it looks a bit long now...does it?

Sushi Day @ 6:19 PM Like what I said in the previous post, it is the start of school, but it's definitely not the end of fun! Spending time with your friends is great, esp. when it comes to eating! *smiles happily* Right, we drove to Excapade in KB for sushi and stuff today. We set off after tuition at around 10.40a.m. I followed Connie's car, which also includes sis, Winy, Jenny, Cony herself and our Physics lecturer, Mr Kho(whom we picked up at Boulevard). It was drizzling and pouring and raining outside, so we chatted and laughed all the way. And waddahell, the Sarawak immigration was flooded. Still flooded when we returned actually. Anyway, the water did not obstructed us much, just that the car emitted white fumes from the exhaust pipe. It stopped later luckily. Cony had to drive slower too. Then we reached our dear destination - Excapade. Krismin's car had not arrived yet, this group of people just took off when we crossed the Baram River bridge. The 8 of us occupied one "room". The "room" was seperated from the rest by a curtain, you know, japanese style. And we sat on the floor which was levelled up. Freezing cold when we just reached. We camwhored while waiting and waiting for the others to come. Okay, we ordered first to tell the truth, so hungry, after looking at the menu. Felt a bit obliged to try them all but that will burst my tummy and rob all my cash... Green tea - two pots cost $6 = RM14.40. Uhh. Shisame? Can't remember the name. They are pregnant fish with lots of eggs in them. I don't think the lime suits the taste. Part of leftovers we simply can't finish. Naturally, I tapao them. Tada!! Gotcha, Ling Lee! The four of us in front were half-squatting painfully. The six at the back were standing with tip-toed legs. After the bills and toilet, we moved to Supasave, getting a bit lost on the way. Good thing was that the rain had came to a halt. Greeted by the wonderful aroma of kebab upon reaching the supermarket. I shopped for yoghurt, plums and strawberries. Sis bought a whole lot of lovely biscuits...bring to school for me ya!! Bought a chicken kebab before leaving. Mr Koh actually complained that it was sweet! How can it be sweet? Like all those chocolates he bought are bitter. Anyhow, at least he forced us to eat them on our way back..with half left which he declared to finish them tonight! We drown him with the risk of getting diabetes, how it deteriotes his health at once. I think our advice went in and out of his ears - he just munched away. See? The road was flooded..this is back in Sarawak. First ray of sunshine for the day. Glad that we made it back home safe and sound. Thanks to everyone for making it a trip to be remembered! So when's our next trip to try soba and teppanyaki? Heh.

the beginning of the last year in a school @ 6:57 PM School starts. Lessons start. Homework rush starts. The safety belt policy starts!!! Our government is showing such great concern towards our safety, wow! My class is still using the same old classroom with a leaking air-cond that poses danger and a whiteboard that's turning into a 'blueboard'. Well, from a positive point of view, the doors are both alright - we broke the knobs, hinges for countless times last year. So, this year, I'm sandwiched between a fish that dislikes prawn and a pooh who loves pretending to be knocked by the door lately, like she has nothing better to do. Sigh. Anyway, I gotta be serious this year, no kidding about A2 and getting into uni. Dead worried about these applications. What if no uni wants me? Or I can't reach their conditions? Brr, frightening thoughts. Hope that doesn't happen to me. Yeah, it won't. Keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime, I may be hopping on for a trip to Escapade in KB for this saturday! cheers! Haven't check if my passport has expired or not..can't remember when it was renewed.
