Cheers~ Mock exam is over. Okay, it lasted for one week only. But still, preparation is another thing. I guess mine lacks effort. A lot. Well, no use crying over spilt milk. Damage is done..and it's gonna show in my grades! Hope not too seriously though.
Burying my head in chem at Pustaka. It's so freezing cold thr!
It's attracted to the interesting reactions of Group VII elements.
Having Critical Thinking exam I think. Everyone's so obsessed with the test? And I was taking this photo..*reflect on behaviour*
Ling Lee sure stands out as the striking one here..
MOCS was invited to perform in 2 dinners last last uhh..okay, during the last week of August. Appealed by the factor that dinner was provided, just kidding, I joined the performances. 1st one was Shell's Newcomers' Party at Eastwood..buffet-style dinner! But didn't managed to capture pics that night, had to off my handphone.
2nd performance was held at Pavillion, Park City Everly Hotel. The event?
See for yourself. Such a long name. It was the Prize-giving dinner. The stage was quite small so it was a bit crammed up there. Luckily no microphones were knocked down. Anyway, the "angmo"s there were soo supportive! They were clapping all the time, even along with the rhythm of the songs..so nice of them! Even after the supposedly-messy rehearsal, some came up and said "Ohh, you guys were brilliant!.." Wow. Thanks.
The dinner prepared for us was just fried rice, chicken wing and fried egg actually. But, thanks to Jeremy's dad, we had the privilege of having dinner in the Pavillion together with everyone else! We were too delighted to reject the scrumptious offer and went straight in after putting back our instruments in the other room.
Appetizer..Hot and cold combination.
Denise and I while waiting for car~
The grand piano sitting quietly in a corner. Sticked on the closed cover: "Please do not play".
Eat to live? Or live to eat? To be realistic, the former. For a food-lover, the later. Whichever you are, you don't push good food away when they are placed in front of you. So let's devour! Photos only, make a trip to the restaurants for real ones.
Citrus' Breaded Chicken. With chips and salad. Crispy texture.
Baked chicken rice. Tastes fine. More cheese would be better!
Chocolate sundae! Had been craving for ice-cream..
Chocolate cheese from Mega Hotel. 35% discount after 5!!
Chocolate cake again. Forgot its name.
It's not like I favour chocolate cake so much. Just that they make too much appearances. This one's from Double Star. They even heated up the cake before serving, to melt the choc on top I suppose.
It's Mama Ling, Ling Lee's birthday today! Happy 18th birthday! After chem tuition in school, we had lunch at 9 to 5, after "transiting" at Nat's house, where her rottweiler+dalmation "Lion" excitedly jumped and clawed at us...the name suits well. Poor "Cherry" was whining at the back, hiding beneath the old furnitures. Why? Cause she's afraid of Lion. Move on...to lunch.
Pattaya Fried Rice. Thanks for the chilis, Ling Lee.
Mama Connie's wet butter milk chicken rice.
What follows after main course? Desserts! No, we didn't go to Desserts. Of course our 1st choice was...?
My dear Secret Recipe...whose opening I was anticipating all along. So gleeful it came to Miri! Upon reaching, the inside was totally full. Packed like cans of sardine! Thought it would be emptier cause it was already 2p.m. So, we aimed at customers who seemed to be leaving soon, chatting with Ms Jill who was there with Michelle. Luckily we bagged a table in the end. Haha~
Chocolate Fudge.
White Chocolate Macadamia.
My fav -> New York Cheese! Irrestible!
The much loved Chocolate Cheese.
Bought this Espresso Cheese for my mummy..
Before...

Jenny, Ling Lee, me and Connie.
Winnie da Pooh, Nat, Ling Lee and Jenny.
Ohh, thanks to Chrispian too! For helping us save some money..maybe Jenny really should consider working part-time there, good benefits! All in all, Secret Recipe is so worth going! Not everyday though, you'll go broke soon enough.
