First off, nasi lemak at Rasa Segar Restoran in town. Not sure about the exact location, somewhere near My E.G. (P/S: I think.) The food is quite good, with a generous portion of rice and sambal as you can see! Range of nasi lemak to choose from and you can have either curry or rendang for meat.
My nasi lemak priced at RM3.50.
Next up. Lunch at Ling Lee's place. Yeah, we rushed to her house during lunch break just for lunch, since she invited us out of sincerity. Anyway, who rejects a free lunch??! Not me, for sure. Fingerlicious food on a super-duper heavy marble table top. So are the chairs.
French fries - crinkle cut.
Spaghetti with tomato bolognese sauce and CHEESE.
Dessert - No idea what's its name. 'It' contains red bean, barley and stuff.
Birthday for the class monkey! The one who goes "HEeeeYyy" suddenly for no reason. It was a well-planned surprise, strictly speaking. Mr. Monkey thought that only Connie, Winnie and I are celebrating for him - the "pasar malam kaki's". So the four of us were already eating away happily before the others appeared - from behind Maurice without him knowing. Kudos to those who waited for ages outside, you guys can say 'thanks' to the one who came latest!
Onion rings with tartar sauce.
Chicken chop with pepper sauce.
Winnie's and Connie's chicken chop with mushroom sauce.
Maurice's chocolate mousse. Pics taken by different peeps. Which one's nicer??
It's just a photo frame. With some words, ahem..
The two brothers. Are my hands that shaky? Or is it the lousy phone cam?
He's happy with the prezzies.
After the birthday eve dinner, is the birthday of course. Nah, we didn't celebrate twice. It's sports instead! To burn off all the calories we consumed the night before. Followed Winnie's car to Ling Lee's house after Physics tuition, played ping pong for the first time, officially. Thanks to Shirley for the guidance, haha.
Lunch was fantabulous. Can't express my gratitude for Ling Lee's mum. She prepared such a lot of dishes, from curry to beef to vegetables to honey chicken wings to giant shao mai. Forgot to take photos, food was too luring.
Girls lazing around after lunch. Can you spot someone with two "V"s? =)
Headed to GCM a while later at 1.30p.m. But the GCM staff were very suspicious of our membership. I don't blame them, imagine a crowd of 10+ people entering at the same time. I was half-stuttering when questioned, going "err...", then realized it's obvious I'm not a member. XD. Shouldn't have wandered on the corridor.
Connie and Maurice playing squash. I'm still trying to grasp the skills.
Badminton is still the best! Luv it.
Nat came running over to make sure her face can't be seen in the pic..
No, the eating spree has not ended yet. Our next and last stop was rojak shop at Petronas. What could be better than a big bowl of ABC Special after an afternoon of running and jumping and flapping our arms? =)
