boredom kills @ 10:52 AM

It has been over 2 weeks since exams ended. My days are mostly just spent eating playing and sleeping. Sounds good but it's terribly boring and fattening. Anyway, here's a summary of my recent doings.

15th june
(It was voonhui's birthday!! ^^) ALS Jan '08 students were grateful enough to throw a party for our lecturers and part of school staff during lunch hour. Aren't we lovable? The food we prepared that day was more than sufficient to feed a pack of hungry wolves. Let's see if I can remember the dishes..chicken curry, white rice, deep-fried wantan, sweet and sour fish, mango chicken, salad taufu, fried rice, mixed vege, shao mai, chicken stew, roti canai with curry sauce, roasted chicken, baked potatoes, chicken wings, spaghetti carbonara, gui ling gao, watermelon-starfruit-honeydew, pineapple tarts, mango pudding etc. Something's missing, I can't recall what. Not bad ehh?

Mouth-watering food.

starting 3rd from left: Bubi the lab assistant, ms.Winnie - maths, ms.May - bio, John Wong the principal, Dr.Lee - chem/head of A-levels, err..this one you know..the one in red.

The fish-killer!! Beware!! =D

It was time for our class meeting. Interesting agenda.

Take #1. Cameras were perched atop some containers haa.

Take #2. Teo the Superman??

We went bowling again after things were cleaned up. Sorry, it should be 'They', 'cause I didn't play. Geez, why does it seem like I'm so not sporting? Out of 12 peeps, I was the only one who was just watching and laughing like last time. Sigh, never mind, at least I helped you people take care of handbag, wallets, phones, keys.

17th june
The bully returned, gave me a call, and went to sleep.

18th june
I drove to voonhui's house with bully to teman her lonely mum. As expected, she filled us in on boyfriend and marriage tips, mentioned the 2 somebodies again, and told us something that sent us into fits of laughter.

19th june
Walked to bully's house after the electricity was cut off (What is SESCO doing these days!!). She was pratically screaming hysterically that it was hot and why no one complain to SESCO. If not for that, it would have been quite a pleasant afternoon for me reading Frankenstein and a Detective Conan comic found in her so called entertainment room. What a relief when the electricity came back, you know why. In the evening I drove to GK Supermarket as bully was in a cereal bar craze. Apparently, the variety there was too little and she ended up buying..Cadbury chocolate bites and a Pandan something from Southern.

20th june
Went to church at 6.30a.m. with bully and vh's mum for morning prayers session. Nice. Ohh, and there was a sort of mini books and CD exhibition that day at the church driveway since it was Parents Teachers Day for the kindergarten. I was very very tempted to buy the RM60 bible and a couple of piano and violin CDs. But yeah, I'm me, so I didn't spend a single penny. Aunty brought us for breakfast at some coffee shop in Krokop. The mee kolok there is jjang! Really! Ask me personally for location details XD. Then aunty wanted to go for MRI screening, but ahem, unsuccessful in the end..went back to MCMC for consultation. Next was Parkson, for bully never seen the new wing before. Look see look see. Aunty bought a pair of heels from E&E Plus. Walked some more. And it was lunch, hurray. I forgot the place's name, but I know it was where the old Kimmy was. Thanks for all the meals aunty haha!!

21st june
(Happy Father's Day!)breakfast at Pujut 2 with bully and her dad and bro. Mee kolok again. But you don't get tired of it. Saw our dear youth fellowship dongsaengs at church..and felt so old. Pastor Zhe Ying was the speaker for that day, topic was based on Leviticus. Met Flora and chatted until bully and I missed Sunday school class, and chatted with Pastor Ya Jing instead. In the end, I followed vh's mum for lunch again before going home..

Sat sweating outside Eastwood Main Hall upstairs the main building at 2.30p.m. The Suzuki Method preview was at night so we(MOCS) as performers had to rehearse in the afternoon. Thank God I wore casual clothes there. Some had already changed into their black attires, imagine how suffocating that would be. Why? Because the hall and stage were not prepared for us yet, so we had to use the landing outside temporarily. Mirians, you know what lovely weather we have..and the ceiling fans were swirling so slow that it's the same with or without them. Whatever, so this man from Malaysia Suzuki Association introduced the association, the method and also, the MSA's mentor, Ms. Antonella Maria Aloigi. She's a versatile Italian musician who participated in tours and concerts all over Europe. So I guess we were lucky to have her here.

Ticket for the night. The menu caught my eye at first sight. XD

Well, at 6p.m., the guests start arriving. We were initially told that we can sit anywhere we want apart from the VIP tables but later, were shooed right to the very end of the hall. =.= Stage far away, food far away. Poor us. Since the dishes were set up on both sides of the hall, everyone had to queue up to take. No food pics here, sorry, too hungry. Pan Fried Lamb with Honey Glaze was nice. Mango Pudding very mango-ish. Sago with Gula Melaka was damn sweet I couldn't finish it. The orange juice tasted plain after eating it. And the watermelon was not sweet at all!! Perhaps I took it too late, those left were the white-pale red kind.

The long long talk on Suzuki Method began soon after. And the air-cond which is freezing cold, what a contrast to the afternoon's humidity. But privilege of sitting at the back -- talk and move around as you wish! The most funny thing is the kids, who were performing too, ran and play like it was someone's birthday party.

After what seemed like centuries, our turn to perform came. I went lols at the crowd gathering in front of the stage, probably because the kids' parents were blocking other people's view so they all just moved up front. So random haha. We started off with The Entertainer, 'The Moon Represents My Heart' (translate it), Hop Up My Ladies and Twinkle twinkle little Star. The kids sure were cute though half of them didn't memorize the songs. Next, our orchestra moved on with Dvorak's New World Symphony, Tchaikovsky's Symphony No.5, Bach's Concerto in D Minor where Antonella and James performed a duet etc. I messed up a lot, meekly admit. Hehe.

Chatted on phone with Linda who just arrived back that afternoon. Man, was I exhausted that day..found my bed unusually inviting and comfortable! ^^

22nd june
Linda came to my house, basically just talked and talked. At night, we gathered at Pizza Hut with ex-CH classmates, NyukYan and sis, Josephine, Dorothy, Yong Taufu and Alvin. Everyone are still the same, eg. Josephine still tall as she was, Alvin still checking appearance using hp as mirror..with that same signature movement. And sadly, I discover there really are a lot of peeps who are gonna fight for jobs with me in the future XD. After dinner we walked aimlessly in the new wing, chilled out by the strong air-cond.

23rd june
Went to Linda's dad's clinic. Her dad was showing some X-ray images to her and her bro. So cool. Perhaps I would have opted for medicine or sth related if my bio is good. Kidding. It would never happened. Next stop...Parkson once more. That's why I say I can walk around Parkson blindfolded. MacDonald was practically bursting with customers so we ate at SugarBun. Saw TeckMui, looking good in short hair! Then the shopping spree began. Only for Linda actually. By evening, she had T-shirt, shorts, slippers, groceries etc. We are gonna cook a feast someday haha. I, on the other hand, spent on nothing but lunch and a MacDonald ice cream. The RM1.60 one..I like it!! But the poster lied, it says RM1.50! Brr..my RM0.10. Heh. Then later on I spotted the RM1.20 low-sugar ice-cream at SugarBun. Sniff.

24th june
Which is today. I wrote an extremely long post. Anyone thinks I can apply for Guiness World Records?? Then I'll have something very worth to blog about rather than rambling so much on my blank soggy days.

I PAY MY RESPECT TO WHOEVER THAT READ FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END. I should give them an award.
