tete-a-tete daffodils around North Campus.

"I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze..."

:: extracted from William Woodsworth's Daffodils ::

I set off on a lazy morning walk on Palm Sunday, keeping my fingers crossed that it would not rain, for the sky was looking a bit dark and gloomy. Luckily it didn't :)

Burst of vibrant primroses!

How nice to just sit there on a bright sunny day, with a hot pastry in hand to relish on, watching people walk their dogs...

Sadly, the sun was too shy to show its face, not even a ray of sunshine..I had no hot pastries..and the park and streets were practically empty. weell there was this ahjumma doing aerobics at a corner though, who kept casting wary glances around like she was a bit embarassed so I hastily left the park =.=

I am so gonna plant flowering trees in my future garden! I guess this is Okame Cherry Tree..

Flowers above my head X)

More primroses at Lincoln Square.

Ambled on to Spinningfields, seeing that the church doors were still shut.

John Rylands Library, and oooh the sun came out! :D

Pickled oranges sitting quietly on the windowsill of a cafe.

At one end of Brazennose Street.

And off to Palm Sunday mass I went. We each got a cross folded from yew tree leaves - in Miri there would be too much palm leaves! What a contrast :P With Palm Sunday, thus begins the Holy Week - the last week before Easter Sunday! Soo happy that mummy went for confession and received the Holy Communion on Sunday :) oh the joy of my weekend. may the bliss continue on throughout my holidays!
