KL Trip - Part 3 @ 9:12 PM

5th July

The day the Megasales Carnival started. Luckily we were still in KL =D It had been planned that our destination for the day was Mid Valley Megamall. Breakfast was at Jalan Alor..pardon me, my memories of the trip got a little jumbled up, I stated wrongly in the previous post, we had breakfast at Lot 10 the day before, not Jalan Alor. Teeheee.

We wanted to hitch a taxi to MVM initially but the taxi drivers we asked all offered exorbitant fares. Consequently, we opted for trains again. Monorail to KL Sentral, then using the KTM, from there to MVM. First store we entered was F.O.S, where CJ and suyi went to toilet without notice. We thought they went off alone to shop so we moved on as well. (they came back to find us missing haha)

Aboard the monorail.

Wacky mascots.

My mission was to buy a belt that day for I forgot to bring along my belt to KL. The result? Forced to repeatedly wear the same pair of jeans that doesn't require a belt. We checked out stores that look acceptable and affordable, trying on apparels for fun. Okay, fun -> my case. I accomplished my mission in Spade, spending RM9.90 for a simple silver belt. yay.

Kiehl's way of publicising. The guy was g-o-o-d at it. LL was saying,'' It's fake lah. Cannot be real person!'' So we walked closer and examined. He actually gave us a brilliant answer by suddenly showing a wide grin and a peace sign.

suyi..you wanna bring him back home?

blue creature: uhh..I've got a crush!

Food Junction at top floor was totally jammed with people during lunchtime. We were fortunate enough to find a table to fit the six of us.

My bibimbap. But not as tasty as what I expected.

Winy's seafood bibimbap. Bibimbaps sure are colourful.

Kimchi as a side dish.

The mango pudding mau was craving for. And turned out it wasn't half as good as the one he ate 2-3 years ago. Jin's waffle ice-cream was something more worth hankering for!

After lunch, we met kakak Qiying in err..lols, what shop was that again? *think and fail* I was surprised to see Boontung there. The surprise-feeling waned rather quickly though, because I recalled he's from the same college as kakak.

10 minutes later, I was on my own, heading for places of my interest XD. First of all was Pets Wonderland. Wondered why it shrunk to only one floor..I remember it has two floors, with chameleons and snakes etc on the bottom floor. Anyway, it is still quite big now.

Adorable pets.

There was a Pet Exhibition or some sort of similar thing going on at the MidValley Exhibition Centre(MVEC). Thinking how well-timed I am to be at MVM whilst the exhibition is held, I walked blithely towards the hall...only to find that I need to buy a ticket to go in. So much for the good timing.
Plopped on the floor at MPH for a good read after the disappointment, which was not a good choice. A boy, from sec school I deem, was blabbering on his cellphone so loudly nearby. Very considerate of him. Worse, I started to doze off and almost had forty winks. I decided a girl sleeping with her nose buried in a book in a big bookstore doesn't look nice so I paid for my things and went off. Pretty much dazed by all the apparel outlets, I ambled to The Gardens.

Some car roadshow.

Very striking car.

LL called as I was taking the photos. I won't have heard it otherwise ^^ She told me they were in Carrefour. I almost laughed. Carrefour is huge. No easy job finding them. Still, I trailed back to MVM and began a futile search. In the end, I phoned LL to know that they were out of the hypermarket. Tralala.

The peeps camwhoring in some fitting room. Fitting rooms had become our favourite hangout.

Alikeness : 100%

Kakak and the door.

Strawberries coated with chocolate.

RM10 for these. Good value.

Our dinner place - Kenny Rogers.

Our vanilla, chocolate and banana muffins.

1/2 chicken with macaroni, mashed potatoes and fruit salad.

1/4 chicken with potato salad, mashed potato and fruit salad.

Fruit salad.

Toying with Jin's camera.

I suppose this is the best group photo taken during the trip. ^^
Made a last minute purchase of a pair of short heels at Metrojaya before we headed back. Peaceful night cause I was sharing the master bedroom with LL, whom I can't imagine preventing me from going to bed.
