i'm unhappy @ 1:58 PM I'm in such a fowl mood today. Thanks to these things. The Sterling pound rate has surpassed 6! It's 6.01 today. I dare not imagine how much I will spend if I'm gonna study/live in UK for 4 years, tuition fees, accomodation, travel, food, apparels and books expenditures shall cost my parents a fortune. Besides, the exchange rate would still be making its way up and UP. Money sure is a big headache after health. Sadly to say, both poses a certain level of threat to me. The next thing is about the UK Visa. I want to book my appointment online with the VAC in KL but I just couldn't get past the 2nd part where I need to fill in passport number, names, contact number and email address. Guess what's the problem? As quoted from there, ''Please enter valid given name(s) for applicant no. 1''. Hello?? Does it mean that my name is invalid? So my parents gave me a wrong name?? I retried for God knows how many times but no, the problem persisted for the last few hours. waddaheck. What's more? The VFS people just don't have a minute to spare to answer the phone calls. The MABECS told me to ''go straight to the centre and queue up there. They won't send you away.'' Maybe I should take their advice and swim over to Peninsula and get a cab to the VAC huh? And here's the final straw - A-level results are coming out next Monday! The pressure is killing me. I have been quite unfortunate lately, especially today, encountering something that scared my life out of me. I pray things change for a better on Monday. Please.

3 Comments:Hey Caroline, don't stress. The visa name part I found out that you can't have spaces in between. So I just put my name as WenQi there. Silly technical glitch. By wandkey, at August 6, 2009 at 5:07 PM Ohh thanks for your help. I have found that out through the VAC ppl who finally answered the calls. Yeah it sure is bothersome, it could have stated so and save applicants' time. Haha. By caro1229, at August 6, 2009 at 7:23 PM
