The 1st time I took a train ride in UK! Went down to London for Christmas with sis last tuesday. Very happy with the peaceful and quiet ride, so quiet I didn't dared to munch my biscuits too loudly.
Apparently Manchester is quite big...I guess I have been cramming in one small corner all the time.
Stopped at Stockport for a little while..
...and Wilmslow as well...
Winter wonderland? :)
What could have been a lovely scenery..if not for the water sliding across the window..
And I saw greeens! Have been blinded by white snow for some days! XD
Yeeching received us at Euston just in time, well almost. And off we went to her extremely "neat" room to chill off for the rest of the night. Sis and I had to go on a cleaning spree after having dinner, while the owner just laughed and talked and digged for her phone in the dustbin - I wonder how it got there too.

Woke up to a lovely morning but it quickly turned into a boring one after I bathed and watched the piggies snore away. Poor me.
An adorable lhama!
Camden Market looked a bit like Petaling Street, with the cramped stalls and crowd.
We headed for the food stalls instead...where I had tremendous fun getting free samples from all the stalls.
4 pounds meal from a Chinese stall, shared with sis and dodoreen. RM24 for this my gosh :S but it's really nice though, cause it's Chinese food!!
Tummies filled up, we hopped aboard the bus to other places..managed to grab the frontest seat upstairs of the double decker, whee~
We got off somewhere near Westminster Abbey. Magnificent church.
St. Margaret's Church, if I'm not wrong.
Yeeching and I in front of Westminster Abbey :)
Me, dodoreen and sis! Random pic of us.
BIG Ben! I took a zillion pics of it somehow...It's just so handsome.
Walking and sightseeing is just splendid. And you just don't needa fret about getting lost!
Dodoreen and I!
Hulmes River.
And London's Eye is sitting serenely on the opposite bank!
Sis you're taller than me!
aww my dear big ben..I like this pic!
Jubilee Oracle by Alexander 1980.
Plenty of interesting things to see along the riverside.
Christmas market still going on in London.
Before we realized it, dusk has fallen, along with raindrops.
Crossed back to the other side of the river using Waterloo Bridge.
Bye London Eye!
Somerset House, an art and culture centre, supposedly.
Ice skating rink!
Final destination of the day - St. Paul's Cathedral! :DD But visiting hours are over, and the helper told us we have to queue for hours for the Christmas Midnight Mass the next day. =.=
And so we returned to yeeching's nest, after getting groceries from Sainsbury again.
How pathetic can a holiday away in London get? With nothing to do as the owner watches 还珠格格, annshien studying her medicine stuff, sis facebooking with her N97...I tried to study heat transfer. I failed, don't worry. Ended up watching No Reservations with annshien. Nice movie! Fell asleep 10 mins after we started watching The Devil Wears Prada though...XD
So much for the 1st 2 days in London! Stay tuned~
