dim sum and blackpool! @ 7:42 AM

Yeeching the chaosmaker came to Manchester once again! Never knew Manchester is so lovable. But yeah, giving second thoughts, maybe it is, since I'm here X) and since there's cheap dim sum a stone's throw away from my hall, making someone green with envy.

We somehow ended up at Pearl City to eat dim dum for 2 consecutive days! The original plan was to have fish and chips at Wetherspoon House the 2nd day but we only found out upon reaching that the 2.99 pounds offer starts at 2p.m..it was 12noon at that time and we were starving.

Chee Cheong Furn.

Shao Mai.

Fried noodles with shredded pork.

Steamed pork ribs.

Our beloved deep-fried custard buns!

On the 13th we made a day trip to Blackpool - 8 of us altogether, respectively yeeching, chiakhuan, jake, ying, pollux, pollux's mum, sis and I. (Pollux and mum arrived the day before!) Fortunately, no one overslept and we safely reached our sunny destination at around 9.30a.m.
Most of the tourist attractions are located along the seaside. So we just walked there and took a loooong long stroll down.

A shop FULL of candy. Rock candies with names on it.

The cause of toothaches and diabetes. Nice to look at though.

Enjoying the sea breeze...pollux's mum looks so cool here! :D

It was still high tide at around 10.30a.m.

Blackpool EyE? Naah..just a Ferris Wheel for people to have breathtaking views of the sea and city while freezing to death in the cold wind up there.

the girls by the sea!

The fish and chips we had for lunch after a gruelling 30 mins wait right in front of the shop. I bet the workers there never came across such desperate customers :P

After lunch we killed time in arcades and guess who I found?? XD So BIG!

Poor teletubbies trapped in the glass box, repeatedly picked up by 5cm maybe and fall back down.

And the game of the day! Drop in the coin and see if any coins get pushed over the edge and down to where you can collect them!

A typical arcade - there are so many of them down the road!

Water Park which certainly caught yeeching's attention. Another reason for her to come again.

Pleasure Beach is the famous Blackpool Theme Park! We didn't go in though, as the tickets are overpriced for us..compared to Sunway lagoon XD

Park entrance with Noah's Ark on top.

Supposedly one of the highest roller coaster in UK. I wouldn't doubt that, since there aren't many roller coasters here..and it really is pretty high!

Miniature golf course!

The pink cinderella coach. They should introduce a pumpkin carriage too.

Homemade vanilla ice-cream from Notorianni's.

Feel like flying?? Have a go!
The beach snapshots...

My weird perspective strikes again!

Even little fat birdie knows how to pose for the camera...

Do you see this, jake and pollux???

Lovely stuff in a random souvenir shop.

The Blackpool Town Hall.

And the long mercedes or whatever in front.

Dinner at long last..at O' Neills! I had Chicken Stock Pot which was topped with some brandy...*regrets*..I never know brandy has quite a high content of alcohol. Felt like my face was burning and ended up with an uncomfortable tummy that night. Eww.

On the way back, I was initially very diligently reading lake district brochures and taking photos of sceneries outside..

..listening to music on my new tiny little Philips mp3 player won on ebay by bidding :D then the sleepy bacteria launched their attacks and succeeded in conquering my brain and eyes.
A trip always makes me wanna go on another trip again. And there's a place stuck right in my mind now =) next Easter, perhaps!
