When I hear the word "Lego", what comes to mind is big colourful blocks - either red, blue, green or yellow. At least that was the Lego I played with some 13 years ago...Lego that makes you go "OUCH!" when you accidentally stepped onto a piece lying unnoticed on the floor..well it still does.


So why Lego all of a sudden? Thanks to my China friend Qian who has this marvellous exclusive set of Lego and chucked it to me to play with over the Easter hols since she has completed it.

Ying with an apple and a carrot :D Our first attempt at it was the 1st week of hols. Dismantling the whole thing took rather long already. There's 2000+ pieces altogether wad ya think!

Product of demolishing. Eww. Looks like scene of an earthquake..do pray for the deceased and injured and those who lost their loved ones in the Qinghai YuShu earthquake last wednesday.

And I proudly present our end product - the Green Grocer! Big thanks to all the builders involved: Ying, sis, loohzhen and me! chiakhuan only giving mental support always :P










chiang chiang! Magnificent, ain't it? So fun to assemble it as well...

Now if only we can get our hands on this! The Grand Carousel! in my dreams maybe, it's a whacking 179.99 pounds! Even Green Grocer is 99.99 pounds! :O Scary prices of toys nowadays..maybe climbing coconut trees and playing "masak masak" with pebbles and stones by the road is more practical XD
