Clutch of Inspirations

embracing the presentcherishing the past
June 30, 2010
oh folly @ 8:55 PM

I just discovered that today is 30th June and not 1st July..thanks to myself for setting the wrong date in my laptop after I came back from UK. So I thought the results are to be released today and thus sent an enquiry email to the uni.

Didn't cross my mind that my calendar-in-mind is one day ahead when the badminton court lady repeated my booking over the phone as "blablabla, tomorrow, which is Thursday". I almost told her shouldn't it be a Friday but then didn't cause I thought it doesn't matter anyway. Lols.

Didn't cross my mind either when I see all the 0630 and not 0701 in forums. Or the date printed obviously on the newspapers.

Still didn't cross my mind when I first read the email replied by Tracy. Saying that the results can be known after the exam board tomorrow..and the date she sent was a 30th June. My brain must had been down!! I figured it was the time difference and she sent it yesterday.. =_= So some time later I re-read the mail and was thinking of asking my tutor about my results as it is "tomorrow" already. Then I re-read the mail+date again. And again. And finally realized something is fishy.

Blanked for a few seconds and ran to grab my clock for a look. And got very speechless. Okay, so much for reporting such a stupid story here.

What's up next? Mmm..dream last night? First, there's the mysterious appearance of a list of everyone's results plus ranking for sem 1 in my mum's office lol. For some reason my ranking in my impression was 251 XD only after waking up then I chuckled that I don't know my ranking actually and that there's only 220+ ppl in our course.

Then, I flew back to Manchester and met a lot of random friends there at the airport. Since I had brought all my stuff back home, I was travelling empty-handed and thus people were asking why I wasn't carrying anything. So I explained that I had flown back already and I'm flying home again. But when asked why I'm flying to and fro, I couldn't think of a reason so I said I forgot. My gosh. The power of dreams :P

The airport was really quiet and empty. And when I boarded the plane, I was surprised to see there weren't any TVs! I thought I must be taking AirAsia but lol, no, it was Emirates! And the plane is a Boeing 737 - 6 seats per row. My seat number was 21D..(how precise my dream can get hahaha). Then this girl sitting in 22C was asking me to move away. I questioned why and she told me something about the girl in 22D having a bad fall and got injured seriously. I was shocked and wanted to question further but then suddenly I couldn't hear or understand what the girl was talking about. Then I moved away. ..heavy absence of logic!!! XD

Touching down in Miri, (yes, the plane flew straight from Manchester to Miri, how cool..I don't know how long it took cause I slept all the way through and missed all the meals.) my manchester friends suddenly all appeared too. Apparently they came for vacation XD. We hopped onto a taxi van or something and set off.

Here's the coolest part. Miri was so different in my dream!I can visualize it very well how I saw it when I was sleeping but oh wells, I'll try my best to describe it in words. Night time when we reached so the sky was a dark shade of blue with no specks of clouds hanging anywhere. There weren't any hints of sea or hills either. Just a wide, borderless piece of flat land. No other vehicles on the road, it was very serene and silent. By the roadsides were moors stretched afar, with silhouttes of trees here and there. Buildings were rather sparse..but brightly lit and uniquely constructed they were. Most weirdly, next to each and every of them was a roller coaster. As if the roller coaster came along with the building. Right, by now I'm pretty convinced I'm a failure at description because I think I made it sound sort of eerie or creepy when it's supposed to be simply beauuuuuutiful! =S *gives up*

Should I even carry on boring you with this..it's not the end yet actually. In fact, we arrived at an even more breathtaking place! So dashingly awesome I knew it was the prettiest scenery I have ever seen. It was a different world altogether...moreover, some most unexpected people turned up...and lol lol lol, i acquired the superpower of treading air - "qing gong"..bwahahahaa! Sorry for not adding in details of the dazzling place but I guess no one's very into it anyway, hahah.

End of randomness for today.

P/S: Re-confirmed that my brain is all rusty. Half the afternoon after failing to send out a text, I couldn't understand what was the problem because I just sent one right before the problem arose. Only when I complained about it to my mum who straightaway asked, "You still have credit?" did the answer dawned upon me.

Brains do get rusty sometimes. LOL. I wasn't really supposed to read this because it was too long but when I read the first sentence, and then the next, I thought "Wow, this is interesting," so I decided to just finish the entire post. Nice entry! You write nicely and I wasn't bored at all. And that was a very loong and detailed and unique dream. How do I get one like that? :-)

I'll take that as a compliment! Hahahaa.. :D

Maybe you can think about what you feel like dreaming about before you go to bed? LOL..I used to do that very long ago. Now the dreams just come to me every single night!
