a day out @ 4:46 AM  "Britain enjoying the hottest day of the year", as the news put it. Indeed it was really hot yesterday -> 30 degrees! Totally comparable with Malaysia. And we don't have fan or air-cond indoors, how wonderful. But luckily my room's temperature is still bearable, as long as I leave my window wide open. *** Some western food! Funny how you love going out for western cuisine in your own country but once you're in the west, chinese food or asian food is like gold to you. Anyway, lz ck ying and I went to Athenaum for the 2.99 pounds lunch one Sunday before the hunt for sis' birthday present X) sorry sis, couldn't have you come along.  Lasagne with garlic bread and salad. Fried chicken with chips. tipu money lah this. *** On sis' birthday, we took a break off our studies and popped into city centre to wander about. The streets are getting more packed nowadays..the locals simply love the sunshine. Oops don't sidetrack. We first dropped by Primark where the spring and summer wear are all up on the shelves.  The two models of the day =) Highlight is the high heels!! 5 inch right, sis? well donee..i would get foot cramp before I stand up in them, then there's the balance problem too. Guess I'm stuck with pumps and sneakers :D Anyway I got to be the shortest for a while XD photo fail though, only me looking at the camera. take #2 still fail cause I'm the only one not looking at the camera this time :P giiveee-up!After sis bought her blouse happily in Primark, we set off to Tesco. Since I had my camera with me, thought that I could just snap some pics to show how our interesting weekly groceries shopping journey is like.  My favourite row! Biscuits, cookies, chocolate bars, cereal bars..whee :D Is she taking or putting back the Doritos Tangy Cheese? :) Is it the pineapple season lately? Seeing so much pineapples for sale everywhere =_= Plums, strawberries, mangoes, blueberries, blackberries..ahh, forgot to take pic of vegetables. Poultry section. Close-up. All kinds of choices..minced meat, thighs, loins, ribs.. THen suddenly, you find out that your basket is full! Time to head to counter :P Our next stop would be Aldi where we grab the weekly offers for the fruits and vege. Couldn't help taking photo of the flowers. So preetty :) See! Pineapples again! Hahah. Nah, that's not the point of this picture. This is where we get the cheap deals from..normally potatoes, fine beans, apples, oranges etc. Preparing for dinner at night :P Happy birthday to sis! Hope you enjoyed yourself on your birthday ;) fooood. Can't really recall all the dishes lol. There's my pot of curry! XD***  And our 1st paper - Engineering Maths is over! 1 down, 4 more to go. Don't know if I wish time could pass slower or faster. Slower cause I need more time for studying, faster cause I'll be going home! :D can't wait.
