The only programme for Thursday was just the Joule Library and Blackboard Presentations. I only knew at 8.35a.m. that the presentations were at 9.30a.m, not 9.00a.m. Thanks yeah, looh! XD You should have told the Joule Library presenter too, who started at 9a.m. and had to repeat the whole thing.
The malaysian bunch then walked to the Eats Restaurant in University Place for lunch. Food there really was a bit cheaper compared to those elsewhere, the senior from our campus tour was right! Sis and I shared pasta with turkey meatballs that cost £1.75. *envies careena and ying who had £3 vouchers because Grosvenor Hall was under maintenance* I won't mind Weston doing that =D
What next after lunch? ...the City Centre! I can now say I've been to shopping there! :D
After almost half an hour of walking cause we kept stopping here and there for no reason, Sarah, Looh, sis and I finally reached Primark. Careena who guided us there departed for the Lloyds Bank just next to it.
To be honest, I half expected things to be somewhat dirt cheap in Primark since people have been saying it's the departmental store with the lowest prices. But apparently I thought differently. Well alright, the prices are quite reasonable I guess, for most of the items. I better lower down my expectations.
Anyways, I managed to buy a pair of tights, a long-sleeve crew neck and a nice thick duvet! Everyone seemed so busy picking and trying clothes I felt silly just walking around reading price tags. T.T
Joined by Peihao and Ying who turned up at Primark after sending Seng Tuck off to Newcastle at the Picadilly Train Station, we went to Arndale! Actually I didn't know we were in it until some time after, because we entered through a supermarket and there wasn't anything telling it's part of Arndale!
Grabbed a 29p yoghurt, 75p handwash, £1 Frosties cereal bars and £1 tupperware from here. Yeah, those £1 things are from the £1 World. Strolling in the shopping malls is torturing for me - my taste buds go crazy when I see and smell those cookies, baguettes and ice-cream. =(

Tonight's dinner! Chicken and mushroom pasta..
and boiled broccoli! Sis' random shots of me.
Evolving into ultimate bread lover since arriving in UK.
Not to mention cereal bars and anything that contains chocolate!! I love how I can get free stuff on the streets!! It was kinda funny how I got that Aero chocolate..this lady from a travel agency was giving out small bags to passers-by and we just smiled and walked on till we heard the lady told someone who took a bag, ''There's free chocolate inside!"
Then the 3 of us - Careena, Sarah and I stopped straightaway and went, "Did she said there's chocolate??" And we abruptly turned and got a bag each sheepishly. The lady turned out to be a Chinese I think, for she said, ''不相信??" LOLs.
