Our dear tour guide must still be half asleep, taking us on the wrong bus that terminates at Trafalgar Square when we wanted to go to Oxford Street. We should have just walked there :P
The weather on Boxing Day was wonderful with the bright sun and blue skies, perfect for sightseeing and photography! But everyone just had to cram onto Oxford Street for sales.
With this kind of notice...
...it's no surprise there was such an awful crowd.
It really does amaze me how one shops in this kind of situation.
Well anyways, I spent my day tagging along sis at first but fell asleep when she went into the fitting room somewhere. Then I decided that I shouldn't be sleeping in a public place on Boxing Day so I bid sis goodbye and went off in the swarming crowd to hunt for my boots. Mummy had been nagging at me for a month to get one pair. Unfortunately shopping just isn't my best talent and I still wonder how mummy actually bought herself 8 pairs of shoes from Oxford Street ?? years ago while her daughter failed to buy a single item and wound up in Clinton Cards in the end.
Food is still a better therapy! Linda, yeeching and I escaped the packed street and settled for lunch at a little Chinese cafe. Sis was determined to get her boots so she stayed at Oxford Street to continue her mission XD And that's my Black Pepper Chicken with Fried Rice!
Something like 滑蛋河.. Miss it so much~
Char Koay Teow! Now I really feel like flying back to Miri and eat all these stuff with chopped chilli! Whatever...I didn't disappoint mummy in the end as I bought my boots at the end of the day from Sports Direct in Camden! Took me ages bringing myself to buy it. 25 pounds...*flap wings and fly away*

My last day in London came soon enough. Once again, the promise to go to church with me turned into snores. What is there so much to sleep about?? Hahahaa...
Another church along Euston Road.
After Sunday Mass I bought myself a Vanilla Creme pastry from Tesco express and set off towards Regent's Park! :D
Relax was all I could do while nibbling my vanilla pastry and strolling about in the park.
How could you not love the serenity of it?
St. Marylebone Church.
He's too busy pecking at leaves to bother about me =.=
I assume that's Madam Tussauds Wax Museum? Not sure...
Now I would love to have a picnic with ham sandwiches, ginger biscuits and lemonade on the grass next to the little river! Haha..the result of reading too much Famous five as a kiddo.
The entrance to Queen Mary's Garden. The trees seem to be linking hands, don't they?
For a second I thought it was closed, but of course that couldn't be! The side doors were opened~
Walking into the park, I just wish that it's summer at that moment!
This reminds me of the song The Last Rose of Summer..try listening to it here! :)
I didn't felt like leaving the park, but it was drizzling and I thought we were all gonna head out, which we did not T.T Should have stayed on at Regent's Park and walked to Primrose Hill! :(
That evening sis and I took the train back to Manchester where the wind is getting stronger but the snow has more or less melted away. Nice trip and next time, I shall go to a city no more but a countryside or lake or mountain! Have had enough of cities for the time being...longing for spectacular sceneries and Mother Nature! But before that, I need to go on a tighter saving scheme next month, that's tomorrow. Yes people, it's 2010 tomorrow!!
Last day of the year today. Has been a pretty challenging year but it's barely the start! May the new year be a fruitful and meaningful one for all! Praise the Lord and fear not any tribulations for He has said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27)
