Dinner at Chinatown! @ 2:52 PM

I did something dumb again! Last sunday afternoon, I was onlining in my room when chiakhuan asked if I have £1 coins cause she needed to do laundry and somehow her £1 coin couldn't be accepted by the dryer machine. So I went out and helped her with it. Upon coming back to my flat, I then realized my keys were still in my room!! All I had was my purse and I couldn't remember my flatmate's handphone number. Thus I had lunch with sis first and came back to bang the door again to no avail. Either my flatmates had bad hearing or all 7 of them were out. At my wits' end, I used sis' phone to call up her flat tutor, who certainly didn't sound too happy but at least, got a warden or someone to come open up the door for me. My name was taken down - a 2nd time and I would get fined =( Sometimes I hate my absent-mindedness.

Anyways, I did some window/groceries-shopping over the weekend; Saturday was with careena and Sunday with sis, chiakhuan and boo.

A very colourful shelf of lovely chocolates in Thornton Chocolate Shop, Arndale.

I love the chocolate's aroma drifting around in the shop, almost falling into my cravings' trap and buying a packet of choc.

Even the candies have to be so darn pretty and delicious-looking but a cup costs up to £2.99 or something similar. T.T

This is Sackville Street Building where I pass by when going to and fro the City Centre. Beware of the shaky lift here XD It seriously shakes! Well, once, when I was going up from ME to E floor where Joule's Library is. Everyone was like, WHOA! Waddaheck was that!

I shared a packet of Oat and Raisins cookies with careena - our after shopping snack, lols. But there were 5, so I took some back for sis. Coincidently, sis bought cookies back from Cheshire Oaks tooo! Millie's cookies, even! Wonderful cookies! I love the one with cranberries or what. Chocolate chip ones were great as well! Makes me miss Daniel's mum's cookies - fab they are!

Made a crotchet with my dear chocolate sauce. =P

Sunday night was the night out for us Malaysians! It started out with me asking just a couple of people actually, then it's like binary fission effect. A tells B, B tells C and D, and so on. In the end, I was stunned by the bunch of people at Weston's reception where we met. XD They were asking who's the organizer, lols..I was like, uh oh, I haven't even decided where to dine in.

The guys leading in front, (weell, there were 13 of us walking you see) , led us to Pacific. It's a more pricey restaurant but people say the food is great.

The interior.

What happens when you don't gently swirl the tea in the teapot before pouring out. Whatever, tea really isn't my cup of tea. XD. I care about the food more! Dishes were all chosen by the guys though.

Beans with minced meat.

Deep Fried Squid.

Spicy Mutton Soup - makes me wonder if pepper is that cheap in Manchester.

Fried chicken with onions and chillis.

Eating chinese food made me so happie. I can't wait to go back to Miri and deal with my ever-growing love for Chinese/Malaysian food. Now I realize how cheap food in Miri really is. I love you, Miri!

Empty plates. Tamiko was soo cute..grabbing all the carrots used as deco on the dishes. She likes eating them. =D And throughout the dinner, us girls were laughing like dumbos at silly trivial matters, eg. when lz cracks up so easily if you go ''teeeheeee'' at her or when jane accidentally made the statement ''xxx was even shorter in primary school! (compared to sec school)".

See how gentlemen the guys are, letting the girls stand at the back =.= (At least Ying gets to sit, haha) By the way, more Westonians than Dalton Ellisians! Bwahahah...

We were commenting on how static the moon and the clouds surrounding it were, just like a painting. =)

Pack of people heading back to Weston Hall, where my room was invaded. Imagine some 8 people at least, checking out how my room looks like + toileting =P The Weston peeps say it's BIG (yay :D lucky me!) except for the bathroom of course; the other hall peeps say it's nice. I got criticized at for ''borrowing'' the common room's chair. And my bananas almost got robbed x.x the guys think they were ripe when obviously they weren't cause the colour was greenish-yellow! Secretly I'm glad my dear bananas really weren't ripe hehe.

We adjourned to sis' flat's common room after that for fruits! Grapes are very well-loved, which is understandable..easy and tasty to eat. Apples come next, with plums tagging behind. The strawberries have rot. Such a pity =(

Later when everyone has left and sis had gone to bath, loohzhen and I were still talking and eating in the common room when the fire alarm started ringing. It was the 2nd time for the day - I missed the morning drill as I was out for church mass. Never knew the alarm is so shrilling and ear-piercing. We covered up our ears as we waited for sis who almost bathed XD Then assembled outside like everyone else. Apparently, someone had broken the fire glass for alarm. No idea if it's a prank or the person had really thought there was a fire - we did smell smoke. Within 5 mins, we were allowed to return. Quite fun, haha :D

Hence began the photo session with loohzhen in my room as sis bathed. I admit I'm terrible at making expressions/poses - see? The best I could get is holding bananas wth. Anyway, sorry loohzhen!! XD For making you scream in the middle of the road when we were walking back from dinner...couldn't resist to go teehee at you! Sumimasei~!
