eating spree @ 9:26 PM First off, nasi lemak at Rasa Segar Restoran in town. Not sure about the exact location, somewhere near My E.G. (P/S: I think.) The food is quite good, with a generous portion of rice and sambal as you can see! Range of nasi lemak to choose from and you can have either curry or rendang for meat. My nasi lemak priced at RM3.50. Next up. Lunch at Ling Lee's place. Yeah, we rushed to her house during lunch break just for lunch, since she invited us out of sincerity. Anyway, who rejects a free lunch??! Not me, for sure. Fingerlicious food on a super-duper heavy marble table top. So are the chairs. French fries - crinkle cut. Spaghetti with tomato bolognese sauce and CHEESE. Birthday for the class monkey! The one who goes "HEeeeYyy" suddenly for no reason. It was a well-planned surprise, strictly speaking. Mr. Monkey thought that only Connie, Winnie and I are celebrating for him - the "pasar malam kaki's". So the four of us were already eating away happily before the others appeared - from behind Maurice without him knowing. Kudos to those who waited for ages outside, you guys can say 'thanks' to the one who came latest! Onion rings with tartar sauce. Chicken chop with pepper sauce. Winnie's and Connie's chicken chop with mushroom sauce. ![]() Maurice's chocolate mousse. Pics taken by different peeps. Which one's nicer?? It's just a photo frame. With some words, ahem.. The two brothers. Are my hands that shaky? Or is it the lousy phone cam? After the birthday eve dinner, is the birthday of course. Nah, we didn't celebrate twice. It's sports instead! To burn off all the calories we consumed the night before. Followed Winnie's car to Ling Lee's house after Physics tuition, played ping pong for the first time, officially. Thanks to Shirley for the guidance, haha. Lunch was fantabulous. Can't express my gratitude for Ling Lee's mum. She prepared such a lot of dishes, from curry to beef to vegetables to honey chicken wings to giant shao mai. Forgot to take photos, food was too luring. Headed to GCM a while later at 1.30p.m. But the GCM staff were very suspicious of our membership. I don't blame them, imagine a crowd of 10+ people entering at the same time. I was half-stuttering when questioned, going "err...", then realized it's obvious I'm not a member. XD. Shouldn't have wandered on the corridor. Connie and Maurice playing squash. I'm still trying to grasp the skills.

Fish for the lab! @ 1:09 PM Poor fishie in the lab's fish bowl looks pretty lonely so kind Connie decided to get some companions and playmates for it. So off we went to the little aquarium shop in Morsjaya after lunch yesterday. Couldn't remember the last time I visited such a shop. During primary school when I was having tortoises as pets? Perhaps. Rm6.80 per fish no.1 Rm6.80 per fish no.2 Rm6.80 per fish no.3 After much consideration of 30 secs, we decided on buying the cheapest fish - RM0.80 for one. At least we bought 5 of them. Wait, it was Connie who paid =) Haha.. Waiting for thermal equilibrium XD. At the same time..

victory title flew away =( @ 2:52 PM Gosh. So sad that Chong Wei faltered again in the All England. This is already the 4th time Lin Dan clinched first place for it. It really can't be argued that Lin is the best player at present. Anyway, at least we know that Chong Wei has basked in his best efforts, battling till the very end and losing to Lin at 21-19, 21-12 in a gruelling 43 minutes. I don't feel like posting the results of the championship here. =P Right, I'm a bad bad person - crestfallen that those China players bagged all 4 titles. I rather have Taufik grab the gold for men's singles (Thought he might come up top - poor him hasn't win the All England before) ; the Danish for the others. Don't quite look up to the Korean players. So, hope this pride-of-our-nation shuttler can strive harder in upcoming tournaments. Like he himself said, it is just his mental/psychological skills that needs amendments. (oohh, my sentences rhyme!haha.) P/S: Ain't I patriotic? XD

Sweet 18 @ 11:34 AM Celebrated Doreen's birthday last night..though her birthday's today. Happy birthday, d to the nee! You're finally 18...and munching Hello Panda chocolate biscuits. Well, we set off after tuition yesterday, with me stupidly thinking we're going to Miri Cafe, thus wondering why Ling Lee and Su Yi were saying they don't know where "it" is.
Dinner was pork chop fried rice with garlic sauce for me. Tasted good. Main thing is the portion is so biggy big at a reasonable price, heh. I forgot to take photo of the food, sorry. 'Cause I was way too hungry, after eating Twisties at chem tuition. Everyone else were having more or less the same dishes, i.e. chicken chop, lamb chop, salad chicken, butter chicken. We sat there from 7.30 till 10.00 p.m. Doing nothing besides eating and talking and weeny bit of snapping pics. I discovered a very depressing fact : I have some difficulties in doing the multiplication tables in Chinese! I just somehow won't be able to insert the multiply symbol into the correct spot between the numbers, which makes me very lagging in figuring out the answer. Lol. ![]() A rabbit and a bear? ![]() Don't blame us for our weirdy smiles, the 2 cameramen are so slow in taking pics. Ohh...did you realize?? I'm the shortest! Nice experience XD Have a blessed birthday, Doreen! Thanks for the Hello Pandas..gonna get a box for myself! =)
